Award-winning DJ Bobby Friction is to present a regular evening show on the 成人论坛 Asian Network from May.

Bobby's new week-night show will be at the forefront of a new specialist-edged Asian Network, and represents a radical change in the station's approach to an increasingly multi-genred British-Asian music scene.
听
The show - Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday evenings from 10.00pm to 1.00am - draws heavily on Friction's position as a key figure in the music industry, and will see a distinct change in music policy, style and structure from the current 'Late Night' format.
听
The Asian Network will be providing an unparalleled platform for breaking British-Asian beats.
听
Bobby Friction - who has a weekly slot on 成人论坛 Radio 1 - is a hugely influential figure on the Asian club scene and a sought after broadcaster with wide appeal to Asian youth.
听
He won a Sony award in 2005 for his documentary on the last General Election.
听
Bobby has broadcast widely on the Asian Network and has brought his infectious presenting style to the album chart and recently The Mix.
听
He starts his new slot in May, amidst a revised Asian network schedule.
听
Bobby said: "I'm really happy but more importantly proud to have been taken on to this pivotal role and show on the Asian Network.

"My job along with all my peers on the station will quite simply be to make the Asian Network the home of British Asian music."
