David Hill appointed Chief Conductor of the 成人论坛 Singers

David Hill has been appointed Chief Conductor of the 成人论坛 Singers, the UK's leading chamber choir.
听
Currently Director of Music at St John's College, Cambridge, he will formally take up his appointment in Autumn 2007.
听
Hill is one of the leading choral conductors of his generation and a figure of increasing significance on the international choral scene.
听
As Chief Conductor, his work with the 成人论坛 Singers will contribute substantially to the group's widely-varied portfolio of work for 成人论坛 Radio 3, 成人论坛 Television and the 成人论坛 Proms, as well as the group's increasingly extensive programme of education and outreach activities.
听
Building on his immense experience directing such acclaimed choral institutions as Winchester Cathedral Choir and St John's College, Cambridge - as well as some of the finest European professional choirs - the 成人论坛 Singers are delighted that Hill has agreed to take up the post of Chief Conductor, continuing the traditions of choral excellence established by his predecessor, Stephen Cleobury.

Already a familiar and much-respected guest conductor of the 成人论坛 Singers, Hill's work with the group includes recordings of the Monteverdi Vespers and the Rachmaninov Vespers, as well as concerts in London and the regions.
