Tributes to Marmaduke Hussey

Tributes have been paid to Lord Hussey, former Chairman of the 成人论坛, who has died aged 83.

Marmaduke Hussey was 成人论坛 Chairman from 1986 to 1996.

Anthony Salz, Acting 成人论坛 Chairman, said on behalf of the Board of Governors: "We send our sincere condolences to Lady Hussey.

"Marmaduke Hussey was a distinguished Chairman of the 成人论坛 representing licence fee payers for 10 years.
听
"He oversaw rapid change during that time and before his retirement in 1996 he ensured that the 成人论坛 was in a strong position to lead the advent of the internet and digital broadcasting.

"His time at the 成人论坛 was only a small part of his long-standing dedication to public service."

成人论坛 Director-General Mark Thompson said: "Lord Hussey made an immense contribution to public life, including his time as Chairman of the 成人论坛.

"He will be remembered for his great vision, his integrity and his forthrightness, but also for his great personal kindness."
