成人论坛's Future Media and Technology announces leadership appointments

Ashley Highfield, Director for 成人论坛 Future Media and Technology, has announced two new appointments to his leadership team.
听
Colin Whitbread has been appointed Future Media and Technology Controller, Service Delivery.
听
Colin joins the team on 30 April and will manage the developer teams to ensure Future Media and Technology builds an enviable reputation for delivering projects and programmes.
听
He will also lead and manage the 成人论坛 and Siemens Technology Partnership.
听
Colin joins from ONO, where he is currently undertaking an interim assignment as Director of Operational Service Excellence. His remit was to improve customer focus, service levels and operational effectiveness.
听
Colin's earlier career included five years with Telewest Broadband as Group Operations Director - where he had responsibility for around 1,800 people - three years with NTL as Group Director, Central Operations and five years with France Telecom.
听
Nic Newman has been appointed Future Media and Technology Controller, Journalism.
听
Nic is working with Journalism and Future Media and Technology Board colleagues to surface ideas for the innovative new service and format propositions made possible by new media technologies.
听
This is in addition to the team he currently manages in News as Head of Product Development & Technology.
听
In addition to his News responsibilities, Nic has recently played a crucial role in leading the project to develop the department's strategy and roadmap for search, recommendation and aggregation across bbc.co.uk as part of the Creative Future plans.
听

The search for three remaining positions - Future Media and Technology Group Controller, Future Media and Technology Controller, Audio & Music and the Future Media and Technology Controller Vision - continues.
