Brian Capron dances out of Strictly Come Dancing
|
It was murder on the dance floor tonight (Sunday 7 October) as actor Brian Capron was voted off Strictly Come Dancing – the first male celebrity to leave the ³ÉÈËÂÛ̳ One competition.
Ìý
Brian was left in the bottom two with Kenny Logan. Both men had to perform their waltz a second time for the judges' deciding vote.
Ìý
Of Brian's waltz the judges said –
Ìý
Bruno: "For me it was a waltz from six feet under. It lacked romance. The waltz has a different feel to it, you have to be elated, you have to sweep around the dance floor – the foot work was bad." Score: 5.
Ìý
Arlene: "The beauty of the waltz is the rise and fall of which there was none. I have to agree with Bruno – it felt less like a performance and more like a wake."
Score: 4.
Ìý
Len: "One of the keys is the hold and I thought Brian that you mastered it and did very well. It wasn't exactly ballroom blitz but it wasn't a ballroom disaster. I thought you did very well."
Score: 5.
Ìý
Craig: "I thought the choreography at the top was very clever. It was only when you got into the waltz that it went down hill."
Score: 4.
Ìý
But it was the girls who really impressed the judges this week with a group swing blues number.
Ìý
The judges said –
Ìý
Craig: "For pure camp-ness and entertainment value Letitia. Incredible dancing."
Ìý
Arlene: "Gorgeous Gabby with her technique and Penny wiped the floor with anything we've seen tonight."
Ìý
Len: "It's go, go girls and bye, bye boys!"
Ìý
Bruno: "The men should be afraid, these girls mean business. But the two hot brunettes Alesha and Kelly stood out for me."
Ìý
Next week the girls will compete to stay in the competition whilst the boys perform a group number but are safe from elimination for another week.
