³ÉÈËÂÛ̳ Asian Network profiles some of the Asian music scene's biggest musical players, picking the acts to appear on ³ÉÈËÂÛ̳ Two's Desi DNA in February.

Desi DNA & Asian Network Presents... is a multi-platform Asian music collaboration spanning digital radio, online, mobile and TV. For the first time full performances from the gig will be available to digital TV viewers via the Red Button from any ³ÉÈËÂÛ̳ channel between 13 and 20 February.

Desi DNA & Asian Network Presents... introduces the first of two programmes from a specially-recorded showcase presented by Adil Ray and Bobby Friction.

On 13 February (11.20pm) there are live performances and backstage interviews from artists including Danish rap outfit Outlandish, resurgent R'n'B singer Jay Sean – currently gaining chart success for his new single Ride It – and a rising crop of new talent including exotic electro folk sitar player and singer Bishi and Bhangra DJs Tigerstyle, making their television debut.

Recorded in December exclusively for Desi DNA and the Asian Network at London's Scala Theatre, digital TV viewers can watch full performances from Jay Sean and Outlandish by pressing the red button from any ³ÉÈËÂÛ̳ channel.

The second Desi DNA & Asian Network Presents... airs on ³ÉÈËÂÛ̳ Two on 20 February and introduces more exclusive recordings from the Scala gig. The programme features live performances from Bhangra progressives Swami, more from Jay Sean and hip hop outfit Sona Family.

On the Asian Network, Bishi appears on Nikki Bedi's show on 13 February from 1.00pm and Sona Family joins DJ Kayper on 20 February from 10.00pm.

As part of the multi-platform offering, viewers can also download video clips and photos from the gig onto their mobile phones*. To get a link to the Asian Network mobile site, text "DESI" to 81869 from 7 February.
