Ruth Jones lands Radio Wales show

Gavin and Stacey star Ruth Jones is set to present her own show on ³ÉÈËÂÛ̳ Radio Wales this autumn.

The new 12-week show, Ruth Jones' Sunday Brunch, is the first commission for Ruth's Cardiff-based production company Sutherland Productions, which will produce the show.

The BAFTA-award winning actress and writer – best known as Nessa in the ³ÉÈËÂÛ̳ hit show Gavin and Stacey which she co-created with James Corden – will host her own two-hour programme on Sunday mornings from 10am till midday.

Ruth said: "I'm really looking forward to it. It'll be like having friends over the house for brunch.

"We'll go through the papers, have a coffee, maybe a bacon bap or two and a nice chat, y'know, just relaxed and easy, easy like Sunday morning." Ìý

Ruth Jones' Sunday Brunch starts on Sunday 5 October 2008 at 10am.
