Jonas Armstrong, who plays Robin Hood and updated the popular legend for a whole new generation, is set to bow out of series three on ³ÉÈËÂÛ̳ One in an explosive, nail-biting series finale.

Series three transmits in 2009 and Robin is older and tougher, hell-bent on revenge following the tragic murder of Marian by Gisborne and the Sheriff's failure to kill Prince John.

The Sheriff is more precarious and unpredictable than ever with new threats looming over him, and there's the much-anticipated arrival of Friar Tuck who joins the gang and becomes one of Robin's closest allies.
