The Armstrong & Miller Show: Ben Miller and Alexander Armstrong back for a second series on 成人论坛 One
Filming has begun on the second series of the BAFTA-nominated comedy sketch show The Armstrong & Miller Show, due for transmission in spring 2009 on 成人论坛 One.
听
After the resounding success of the first series, Ben Miller (Moving Wallpaper) and Alexander Armstrong (Mutual Friends) are back with their crack team of comedy writers and "script guru" Jeremy Dyson (League Of Gentlemen).
听
With their usual mix of the beautifully observed and completely barmy, expect returning favourites plus a raft of brand new characters.
听
Among them are The White Devil, a self-important ex-pat in Africa - roaming the back roads, saving lives and fixing his hair in the wing mirror of his 4x4; Jilted Jim, dumped at the altar but still on his honeymoon, turning the lives of other newly weds into a living hell; Dennis Lincoln-Park, an accident-prone culture buff, searching for the most valuable art works in the history of civilization; and the Old Clubber, a forty-something, mad-for-it Ibiza veteran/company accountant.

Armstrong & Miller are joined by a stellar supporting cast including David Armand (How Not To Live Your Life), Jim Howick (The Kevin Bishop Show), Lucy Montgomery (Tittybangbang) and Martha Howe-Douglas (Doctors).
听
Ben and Alexander comment: "We are both covered with excitement to be returning to 成人论坛 One with another heaving pallet of characters and sketches.
听
"We'll be revisiting some old favourites - the World War Two Pilots included - and hopefully introducing some new favourites too. We very much hope you'll be able to join us."

The 6x30 minutes series was commissioned by Lucy Lumsden, Controller of Comedy Commissioning and Jay Hunt, Controller of 成人论坛 One.

The producer is Caroline Norris, the director is Dominic Brigstocke and the executive producers are Helen Williams, Mario Stylianides and Simon Wilson, Executive Editor 成人论坛 Comedy.
