Sophie Raworth is to join Rav Wilding to co-present Crimewatch Roadshow on ³ÉÈËÂÛ̳ One Daytime.
Crimewatch Roadshow will be going on the road for a month of live programmes across the UK this summer.
The programme will visit four police force areas over four weeks, and will work in partnership with each individual force to focus on the everyday crimes that affect us all, such as burglary, car theft and vandalism.
The force areas over the four weeks are (in order):
Greater Manchester Police
South Wales Police
Northumbria Police
Hampshire Police
³ÉÈËÂÛ̳ News presenter Sophie Raworth joins Crimewatch presenter and former detective Rav Wilding to front the month-long daytime event, with Sophie in the studio and Rav out and about in the community.
Michael Armit, Series Producer of the programme, says: "Crimewatch Roadshow aims to give power to the people, helping viewers tackle everyday crime that occurs in the community."
He adds: "The programme looks at the crime that isn't able to be tackled on Crimewatch but which is still important and highly relevant to our viewers."
Working alongside ³ÉÈËÂÛ̳ regional news teams, there will be campaign updates throughout the day via their regional news bulletins.
Crimewatch Roadshow is being produced by the highly-acclaimed Crimewatch team, with Lisa Ausden and Gerard Melling as the Executive Producers.
Crimewatch Roadshow is due to transmit on ³ÉÈËÂÛ̳ One in June 2009.
