Elaine Paige celebrates five years on Radio 2 with competition to win unforgettable trip to NYC

Elaine Paige

Elaine Paige celebrates five glorious years of her ³ÉÈËÂÛ̳ Radio 2 show EP On Sunday this month with a competition giving one lucky listener the opportunity to get closer to one of the world's leading musicals – Jersey Boys.

A lucky listener will win a trip to New York to include a one-night-only part in the Broadway production of multi-award-winning musical Jersey Boys, which tells the story of Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons and features many of their hits. The show opened in London last year to rave reviews.

The prize includes:

  • Return flights for two to New York
  • Three nights' accommodation in New York and travel insurance
  • Two tickets to see a Saturday matinee of Jersey Boys
  • Meet Bob Gaudio, one of the original Four Seasons
  • Appear in the cabaret scene in the Broadway production (just the winner – not their partner/friend, who can watch) for one performance only on the Sunday

The competition opens on Sunday 6 September 2009 and closes on 29 October 2009.

Elaine comments: "The last five years have flown by and I'd like to thank the listeners for their unstinting support."

Over the past five years, Elaine Paige On Sunday between 1.00 and 3.00pm has become the essential listen for fans of musical theatre, show tunes and movie music around the UK.

Some of the world's leading theatre stars have appeared on EP's show, including Marvin Hamlisch, Cameron Mackintosh, Tim Rice, Whoopi Goldberg, Liza Minnelli, Bette Midler and Barry Manilow.
