Radio Ulster remains Northern Ireland's most listened to radio station

³ÉÈËÂÛ̳ Radio Ulster remains the number one listened to radio station in Northern Ireland with an average weekly audience of 554,000 listeners tuning in each week – according to the latest RAJAR figures for Quarter Three 2009.

These latest figures show an increase of 76,000 listeners year on year (478,000 listeners in Quarter Three 2008) and an increase of 103,000 listeners quarter on quarter (451,000 listeners in Quarter Two 2009).

The top performing Radio Ulster programmes according to average weekly reach are:

  • The Stephen Nolan Show, broadcast Monday-Friday, 9.00-10.30am, with 149,000 listeners
  • Good Morning Ulster, broadcast Monday-Friday, 6.30-9.00am, with 102,000 listeners
  • Gerry Anderson, broadcast Monday-Friday, 10.30am-12noon, with 92,000 listeners
  • Gardeners' Corner, broadcast Saturday, 9.00-9.30am with 94,000 listeners
  • Your Place And Mine, broadcast on Saturday, 8.00am-9.00am, with 88,000 listeners/ On Your Behalf, broadcast on Saturday, 9.30am-10.00am, with 88,000 listeners

³ÉÈËÂÛ̳ Radio Foyle, meanwhile, has an average weekly audience of 28,000 listeners.
