Top TV presenter Peter Levy is to host a new daily show on ³ÉÈËÂÛ̳ Lincolnshire.
Peter – who will continue to front the popular weekday ³ÉÈËÂÛ̳ Look North 6.30pm programme on ³ÉÈËÂÛ̳ One – will also now present his own radio show from Mondays to Fridays, noon until 2.00pm.
The show, which is already popular with listeners of ³ÉÈËÂÛ̳ Radio Humberside, will start on ³ÉÈËÂÛ̳ Lincolnshire on Monday 1 March.
Peter said: "Radio is my first love, it's where I started, and I am really looking forward to having my own show in this county."
Managing Editor of ³ÉÈËÂÛ̳ Lincolnshire, Charlie Partridge, said: "We are delighted that Peter will be joining us on ³ÉÈËÂÛ̳ Lincolnshire and look forward to him bringing his own unique style to the station."
Charlie confirmed that the Peter Levy Show would be a topical news programme featuring the big stories of the day, interviews with top celebrities and politicians and those hitting the headlines – and weather from popular presenter Paul Hudson.
Listeners will get the chance to call in and comment on the issues of the day and the programme will include a newly-extended local news bulletin at 1.00pm.
Peter said: "TV is quick and immediate whereas radio is much more intimate and gives you the chance to spend longer with guests and probe deeper. It's going to be fun."
Peter started his career in acting, appearing on TV classics such as Dixon Of Dock Green, The Mike Yarwood Show, Comedy Playhouse and Man About The House.
His first stint on radio came in 1975 when he joined the original Pennine Radio in Bradford. He has also worked on other stations in Merseyside and Yorkshire inlcuding ³ÉÈËÂÛ̳ Radio Leeds.
He became a presenter on Look North in 1987 and moved to Hull full-time to front Look North's 6.30pm programme seven years ago.
