³ÉÈËÂÛ̳ Proms 2010 press information – important changes to published guide

Prom 44 (18 August)

Mikhail Pletnev has decided not to conduct the Russian National Orchestra at the ³ÉÈËÂÛ̳ Proms on 18 August. We are delighted that Andrey Boreyko, a former member of the RNO Conductor Collegium, will now conduct this concert.

The programme – which includes Beethoven's Coriolan Overture, Rachmaninov's Rhapsody on a Theme of Paganini and Tchaikovsky's Suite No. 3 in G major – remains unchanged.

Since the ³ÉÈËÂÛ̳ Proms Guide 2010 was published in April, there have been some changes and additions to the advertised programmes.

Please refer to the Proms website – bbc.co.uk/proms – for complete, updated listings and contact a member of the Proms press team if you need any further information.

Proms are broadcast live on ³ÉÈËÂÛ̳ Radio 3.
