Tiger ID guide

The familiar orange and black striped cats are masters of camouflage in their jungle habitat, helping them to stay hidden whilst stalking their prey.

At a quick glance, their markings look the same. However, each tiger has a unique set of stripes. For the Dynasties crew, understanding the differences between these markings were crucial in telling each of their characters apart.

Tigers have black stripes that extend over most of their bodies but their faces hold the most intricate patterns. Some tigers are even named after the patterns seen in their facial markings. For the film crew, this was the easiest place to start learning to identify the characters.
