Louise Fryer presents music inspired by ancient Greek myths, with a focus on Antigone. She comforts her blinded father Oedipus in incidental music by Radio 3's Composer of the Year Felix Mendelssohn, and Bacchus cheers up the lonely Ariadne with beer in the ballet by Roussel.
