Angular pop band Field Music begin their two-night residency on the show, playing exclusive tracks from their new album.

The first of a two night residency on the Marc Riley Show for Field Music.

This band have got to be in Marc's all time top 5 favourite bands EVER.

The Brewis Brothers aka Peter and David hail from the North East of England, Sunderland to be exact. They formed Field Music in 2002 and present us with Angular Pop which is unique and specific to their style. Previous incarnations of the band include The New Tellers and Electronic Eye Machine. While recording as Field Music the Brothers have also had their own side projects The Week That Was and School Of Language.

Field Music released their eponymous debut album in August 2005. A collection of B-sides and earlier songs, Write Your Own History, was released in May 2006. Their second album, Tones of Town, was released on January 22, 2007.

Their new album is called Field Music (Measure), it's out next year, but they'll be performing exclusive tracks from it over the next two days on Marc's Show..we really are honoured. I don't think Marc will be able to contain his excitement! Put a note in your diary .. not to be missed!
