Marc is joined by Laura Gibson, a folk singer and songwriter from Coquille, Oregon.
Tonight we see a hasty return for Laura Gibson. Only a couple of months ago Laura did a session for Marc solo, he was sooooo impressed he asked her back with her full band. Top one!!
Laura Gibson is a US folk singer and songwriter born and bred in Coquille, Oregon.
She currently records for the independent U.S. label Hush Records. In 2008, she toured the United States as the opening act for Colin Meloy. She also added vocal harmonies to his Colin Meloy Sings Sam Cooke EP.
She has worked with many other musicians, including Laura Veirs, Danny Seim, and Rachel Blumberg, a former member of The Decemberists. Gibson has also collaborated with The Portland Cello Project.
