Marc welcomes London-based heavy folk rock band Erland and the Carnival back into the studio to entertain and enthral us all.

A welcome return tonight for Erland and the Carnival. Featuring Ex-Verve member Simon Tong, they have been described as a heavy folk rock band. If you didn't catch them first time round now's your chance to check out this intriguing band.

Also featuring in the band are Orcadian folk guitarist and singer Gawain Erland Cooper and Drummer / Engineer David Nock (who recently worked with Paul McCartney on his Firemen project).

The band are based in Londinium (that's London for the boring!) but are journeying up north to entertain and enthral us all, applause applause and in deed applause.
