City analysts and bankers respond to the comments made by Gordon Brown to ITV, broadcast tonight. The Liberal Democrats talk to Nicky Campbell about their plans for government.

Reaction to the ITV interview with Gordon Brown where he admits mistakes in the way the banks were regulated. Business leaders tell us the fault is not all with Mr Brown - he was lobbied very hard to ensure the system remained the way it was. The other political parties tell us that saying sorry is only good enough if people can be sure it will never happen again.

Ahead of their manifesto launch, Liberal Democrat Danny Alexander is probed by Nicky Campbell about raising the salary of soldiers, and where the money for that would come from.
