Flowers and tributes have been left for Raoul Moat - are some people looking upon him as some kind of anti-hero?

Bouquets of flowers and handwritten message have been placed outside Raoul Moat's home in Newcastle-upon-Tyne, and also at the spot where he died in the Northumbrian village of Rothbury.

One handwritten message reads: "No need to feel trapped or bullied now... You have won hearts of the real people now" and 15,000 people have joined a Facebook page called "R.I.P Raoul Moat You Legend!"

Why do some people feel sympathy for a someone who murdered one man, injured two others and threatened many more? Nicky Campbell asks, is Raoul Moat being looked upon as some kind of anti-hero?
