It is Janine and Ryan's wedding day, but will the day go without a hitch? Peggy ignores a captive Phil's pleas as she prepares for the Vic party.
Janine wakes in Richard鈥檚 apartment, hating herself. An oblivious Ryan meanwhile, prepares for his wedding day. Janine arrives home to find a stony-faced Pat waiting. Janine reveals where she was, but maintains she didn鈥檛 sleep with Richard. Janine鈥檚 wracked with guilt but Pat comforts her; advising her not to tell Ryan. Pat persuades a hesitant Janine to go to the registry office. As the vows commence, Janine鈥檚 conscience can bear it no longer and she confesses all to Ryan. Ryan empathises with Janine鈥檚 fears, but assures her he wants to marry her. They continue with the ceremony and head to the Vic for the reception.
An incarcerated Phil wakes in the boarded up living room; a quivering wreck. He persists in phoning Shirley, beseeching her to help him. Battling with his drug withdrawal, Phil trashes the room. Learning of Phil鈥檚 attempts at contact with Shirley, Peggy removes the phone. Assuring Phil she鈥檚 doing it for his own good, Peggy re-nails the door shut. As the party commences downstairs, Billy鈥檚 left upstairs to guard Phil. Claiming to be ill and dying, Phil pleads with a torn Billy to give him water. Billy cautiously opens the door.
Digesting Stacey鈥檚 revelation about Lily not being Bradley鈥檚, a distressed, Dot seeks out Max, but is shocked to learn that he already knew. Concerned, Max confronts Stacey about taking her medication. Growing increasingly agitated, she insists she wants to tell the truth about Bradley. Panicked; Max placates her; urging her to think of Lily. Coaxed to the Vic, Stacey puts Lily in the upstairs bedroom. Having heard Phil鈥檚 cries, a terrified Stacey tells Peggy she鈥檚 heard Archie. Peggy tells her to move on; Archie鈥檚 dead and Bradley killed him. Peggy鈥檚 left aghast as Stacey reveals it wasn鈥檛 Bradley who killed Archie, it was her.
