The sports team discusses the shock news that Wayne Rooney has signed a new contract to stay at Manchester United. Former Liverpool and England defender John Scales, chief football writer of the Daily Star Danny Fullbrook, and sports correspondent of The Guardian Owen Gibson react to the breaking news. Our reporter is also live in Manchester with the latest.

Plus, paperwork is released which sheds more light on the death of Dr David Kelly. Julian Bion, Professor of Intensive Care Medicine at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham has been calling for an inquest into Dr Kelly's death - we ask whether the new documents are enough to satisfy him.
