Ben tells Phil he lied about being bullied to shut Ian up. Phil tells Ian he wants £5000 to stay quiet about Ian and Glenda’s fling. Ian tries to get the money from Masood by threatening to tell Zainab about him and Jane. Desperate, Masood asks to borrow £5000 from Phil. Realising that Ian’s behind it, Phil visits Ian; Masood isn’t coming, and he still wants the money.

Ricky’s worried that Whitney didn’t come home last night, Carol discovers that she’s sleeping on Max’s sofa and makes Max tell her she can’t stay anymore. Whitney frantically tries to find a bed for the night, Ricky almost convinces Whitney to come home until she realises Carol made Max kick her out; she’s sick of Carol interfering. Ricky stands up to Carol, his families in bits and it’s her fault. Carol promises to get Whitney home somehow. Whitney asks Ryan for help, but he tells her she’s being a spoilt brat. Janine offers Whitney the room at her flat. With nowhere to go, Whitney accepts.

Christian and Roxy plan to go ahead with the insemination later that night. Tamwar warns Syed, their parents will never accept a baby. Glenda thinks that Roxy wishes Christian was straight. Roxy denies it but later admits life would simpler if Christian was straight. She gets dressed up when Christian comes over, Christian’s slightly worried when Roxy jokingly suggests they do it ‘the old fashioned way’. Christian leaves the sample pot with Roxy to do ‘her bit’. Syed convinces Christian that they’re going too fast. They rush to stop Roxy but, too late; the deed is done.

Carol takes over Bianca’s job at the café.

Phil and Shirley have overdue bill payments. Phil asks Ryan to do a car job for him.
