Protests in Iran, inspired by Egypt and Tunisia; Italy's migrant flood from Tunisia; Fairtrade gold from Bolivia.

Thousands of demonstrators in Iran are making their voices heard inspired by the recent uprisings in Egypt and Tunisia. Amir Taheri, an Iranian-born commentator, Middle East expert and a prominent journalist under the Shah, passes on the experiences of people living in the country.

The European Union is stepping in to help Italy deal with the thousands of Tunisian migrants who are flooding into the small Italian island of Lampedusa. Massimo Franco, a political analyst for the Corriere della Sera newspaper, tells us what the Italian public make of it.

We're all familiar with Fairtrade products. Now, the royal jeweller, Garrard, is offering "Fairmined" gold. The first bars are Bolivian in origin. Cristina Echavarr铆a, executive director of the Alliance for Responsible Mining explains what distinguishes "Fairmined" from any other gold.
