Libya, a pub sign angers a village, New York Hour, and we 'Catch the Beat' with the editor of a legendary music magazine.

The Man Booker Prize nominated author Hisham Matar's family fled Tripoli when he was three after his father was accused of being a reactionary to the Libyan revolutionary regime. In the first hour he tells us what he's heard from Libya in the past few hours.

Then it's New York hour - and we talk cakes. Listeners then vote their favourite song of all time - they vote Motorhead's Ace of Spades this week.

David Lubich was the man behind the Soul Underground magazine, as publisher, writer and editor. He tells us about a compilation of the magazine he wrote. It's out now called "Catch the Beat". He also guides us through the history of dance music.
