Dan Snow joins Kate

TV historian Dan Snow on Arab revolution and his royal wedding invite. Plus we hear from a woman whose brother has been in a KGB prison in Belarus since standing for election.

TV historian Dan Snow is Kate's big 10 o'clock interview. He talks about the revolutions underway in the Middle East, walking through the sewers of New York and being invited to the royal wedding.

Up for discussion in the 5 live Forum in the final half hour, how important is TV News? And why do so many of us spend more than we can afford?

And in the first half hour we speak to Irina. Her brother was a candidate in the presidential elections in the eastern European state of Belarus 2 months ago this weekend. He and hundreds of others were arrested after protests over the results of the election, and are still in the KGB prison in Minsk. She's just returned from seeing Hilary Clinton and Joe Biden in Washington, to ask for their help in obtaining the release of her brothers, and others.
