John Torode and Gregg Wallace continue their search for this year's best amateur cook. They strip the eight amateurs of meat and fish, and ask them to cook a vegetarian meal.

MasterChef judges John Torode and Gregg Wallace continue their odyssey to find this year's best amateur cook.

The competition gets veggier as they strip the eight remaining amateurs of meat and fish and ask them to cook a vegetarian meal. The contestants have to hold their nerve as they enter the relative unknown, kicking off with a masterclass in some eye-opening veggie dishes by Yotam Ottolenghi. For those who aren't in touch with their vegetarian side, this is a daunting task.

Then, there's no time to lose as they take their brushed up vegetarian cookery skills on location. It's opening night at the circus in Peckham, south London, and the amateurs must feed and win over all the circus riggers and performers with their finest vegetarian dishes. Emotions are skin deep as contestants try to prove their worth as cooks. Those who impress the least will face one more challenge back in the MasterChef kitchen, and this time two contestants will be leaving the competition. With so few places up for grabs, it's a tense finale for everyone involved.

Only the cooks with the most skill and potential will battle on to become the next MasterChef Champion.
