But both sides enjoyed convincing fourth-round wins and will be desperate to keep their cup run going - not to mention getting the better of their local rivals - so it has the makings of a classic cup tie.
One man who knows plenty about cup success is Wakefield head coach John Kear. Castleford-born Kear was at the heart of one of the biggest ever Challenge Cup shocks when his Sheffield side beat Wigan to lift the trophy in 1998, and he also guided underdogs Hull to a famous victory over Leeds in the 2005 final.
