Kat insists her cheating was a one off. A shocked Alfie demands details, and Kat snaps and tells him it happened in the alley by R&R. Alfie walks out and Kat follows, leaving Anthony in charge of the Vic. Looking at the alley, Alfie hears Kat calling, but doesn鈥檛 respond. Kat tells Kim she鈥檚 ruined everything. Later, back home, Alfie wants to know why Kat cheated. Emotional, she says he knows what she is, she鈥檒l keep hurting him. She tells him to throw her out but he can鈥檛, he loves her too much. Kat鈥檚 left reeling when he suggests she just doesn鈥檛 tell him if she cheats again.
Pat tells Janine that Frank paid Phil to torch the Car Lot, and a young man who鈥檇 been sleeping rough died in the fire. Janine questions why she wasn鈥檛 told at the time. Pat reveals Frank left after she and Phil persuaded him not to confess about the fire. They rake over the past, Janine blaming Pat for everything. Pat reminds Janine she鈥檚 the one that looked after her, while Frank looked after himself. Meanwhile, Phil tells Rainie the full story of the fire, and the photos he鈥檚 been sent. He admits Shirley doesn鈥檛 know about the fire. Rainie insists it鈥檒l be their secret; he can talk to her about anything. They kiss, but are interrupted by Pat, who assures Phil Janine isn鈥檛 behind the photos.
Michael finds Janine, angry that she stood him up. Janine鈥檚 thrown Frank鈥檚 picture in the bin, it鈥檚 where he belongs. Janine鈥檚 decided she鈥檚 unlovable but Michael tells her it鈥檚 not true, he loves her.
Anthony鈥檚 persuaded by Shirley to have a lock in at the Vic. Carol鈥檚 concerned that Lauren鈥檚 drinking and that Tanya seems uncharacteristically drunk and out of control.
