Downing Street says it won't comment on reports today that the Education Secretary, Michael Gove, wants to give the Queen a new Royal Yacht to celebrate this year's Diamond Jubilee. The Guardian front page features what's described as a confidential letter to fellow ministers from Mr Gove saying it would be a fitting mark of respect, and could even lift the UK's spirits in difficult economic times.
