Falklands veteran Simon Weston reacts to Argentina's plan to complain to the United Nations over what it describes as the increased 'militarisation' of the South Atlantic.

Argentina's President Cristina Fernandez de Kirchner is making a formal complaint to the UN over what she claims is the increased 'militarisation' of waters around the Falklands. Falklands veteran Simon Weston says she's a troubled woman.

Catholic priest Monsignor Stephen Rossetti tells Up All Night about a conference on sexual abuse within the Catholic Church. The Pope has called for a "profound renewal of the Catholic Church at every level" in its attempts to prevent child abuse by priests.

Up All Night is live in Syria talking to an opponent of the Al Assad regime who is holed up in Homs. 'Omar' tells Rhod Sharp he is lucky to be alive. "There's no more food, no more medical supplies - and we're surrounded by more than 10,000 soldiers. The Assad army are using mortars, bombs, heavy machine guns - they are shelling civilian houses and preventing ambulances from coming into the area to take people to hospital.".
