Sue Johnston was this week's first celebrity guest and she chatted about why Brookside was such an innovative programme, the story behind The Royle Family's genesis and, drawing on her recent autobiography, her difficult relationship with her mother.

In the final hour Chris Rea's 'Raincoat & A Rose' - "not a laff riot" to quote Graham - was the 'Tune With a Tale', courtesy of Chris Simmonds in Aberdeen.
