Lucy鈥檚 horrified to discover Ian still intends to go ahead with the wedding with her as bridesmaid. Janine threatens to call in Ian鈥檚 loan if he won鈥檛 accept her second offer for his house. Mandy isn鈥檛 interested in organising her mum鈥檚 funeral; Ian鈥檚 undeterred when she says she can鈥檛 go through with the wedding. Max tries to rebook the wedding venue but Ian鈥檚 card鈥檚 declined. Phil鈥檚 relieved to learn Max thinks Ben鈥檚 exams are preventing him being best man and gives Max money to pay for the wedding. Ben panics, what will Ian do when he鈥檚 safe on honeymoon? After paying for Ian鈥檚 Argee Bhajee takeaway, Phil tells him he can鈥檛 sell the house or go away. Ian insists if he loses Mandy he鈥檒l have nothing to live for. Phil forcefully reminds him they鈥檙e like family and betraying family is crossing the line. Max comforts Mandy. She鈥檚 angry when Max reveals Ian鈥檚 sorted her mum鈥檚 funeral and they鈥檙e imminently going on a honeymoon cruise. Mandy confronts Ian, who desperately talks her round. Later, Lucy insists she won鈥檛 let Ian marry Mandy. Mandy says she鈥檚 going to marry him - just to ruin Lucy鈥檚 day... Janine confronts Whitney about moving in. Michael tries to put Billy off employing Jean, but his attempt fails and Billy offers her a job. Michael persuades Janine to let him move in.
There鈥檚 plenty of banter while Derek helps Tyler cook a romantic meal for Whitney and Tyler ends up inviting Derek to stay for dinner. Whitney鈥檚 dismay is obvious, so Derek makes his excuses.
