The latest on the mass shootings in Colorado in which 12 people died and a look at the growing humanitarian crisis in Syria.

Dotun Adebayo with news from home and abroad. We're live in Denver, Colorado at the scene of a mass shooting at a screening of the latest Batman film. An expert in gun policy tells us he believes it's now easier to get hold of weapons in the state - despite it being the scene of the Columbine massacre in 1999, just 15 miles from this attack.

The British ambassador to the United Nations tells Up All Night how this latest attempt by the UN to enforce the ceasefire is final chance for the peace process to succeed. The United Nations Refugee Agency also describes the growing humanitarian crisis growing as thousands flee the violence in Damascus to neighbouring countries.

It's Saturday morning, so it's the World Football phone-in, with South American expert Tim Vickery & European football expert Andy Brassell answering a multitude of sporting queries.

And Dotun speaks to the daughter of the late Nigerian activist Ken Saro Wiwa, Noo, about her first book ' Looking for Transwonderland: Travels in Nigeria'. Her travelogue takes you under the skin to the real Nigeria, as she herself re-discovers a country she had spent a decade avoiding since the execution of her father.
