The Red Cross says it's civil war in Syria, Madonna's offended the French National Front and we find out about the first woman to be elected to lead the African Union.

The Red Cross has said that the fighting in Syria is so widespread that it's in effect a civil war, meaning that those involved in the fighting are much more likely to be prosecuted for war crimes. In the next forty eight hours, Kofi Annan, UN Special Envoy to Syria, is travelling to Russia to meet President Putin.
