The brother-in-law of the murdered Indian student Anuj Bidve speaks to Up All Night and 5live for the first time to give his reaction to the conviction of the 23 year old's killer. Speaking from his home in Pune, Rakesh Sonawane says he welcomes Kiaran Stapleton's guilty verdict, but adds 'from here onward the journey is going to be more difficult, because his action is felt every moment'.
As the US voices its fears of a 'massacre' by Syrian troops in Aleppo, we hear from Le Figaro reporter Adrien Jaulmes who's in the city. He describes the deserted streets and tells us he believes most people have now fled to escape the escalating violence.
We're live in New York after the National Weather Service warns the city, state and east coast to be prepared for severe thunderstorms and possible tornadoes. ABC eyewitness news' weatherman Jeff Smith describes watching the lightening as he speaks to us from New York City.
