DJ/producer Dave Lee, aka Joey Negro, joins Dave to share some of his favourite dance tracks.

As Joey Negro, he's had success with Can't Get High Without U, Must Be The Music, Saturday and Make A Move On Me.....as Jakatta, he's had hits with Ever So Lonely, American Dream and My Vision.....he's scored with Forever Together, Real Life and Fascinated as Raven Maize....and released music under several other aliases including Z Factor, Akabu, Sessomatto and Prospect Park.

You may not even realise it, but if you were on a dancefloor in the 90s and 00s, a man called Dave Lee has likely provided a large chunk of the soundtrack to your clubbing days. He's worked under countless aliases for over two decades - his most famous pseudonym being Joey Negro, under which he released his first single, Do It Believe It, in 1990. Since then, he's been behind some of the biggest dance tunes of the last twenty years.

Aside from his production duties, Dave has been label-owner, remixer, DJ and a huge part of the movement that rebranded disco music as a credible music genre in recent years, curating compilations such as Jumpin' (Harmless) and Disco Spectrum (BBE) and Disco Not Disco (Strut). He also heads up his own soul-funk outfit, The Sunburst Band.

On tonight's show, Dave Lee joins Dave Pearce to share a few of his favourite dance records, and reflect on highlights of his own career.
