Growing up in West London with a cultural background of reggae and ska, Courtney chats to Jamie about how he pursued jazz of his own accord.

The pair discuss how Courtney went on to encourage jazz in the mainstream, including having a top ten jazz hit.

Courtney also talks about his early jazz heroes, and how he was inspired by the myriad sounds of the Caribbean for his latest record.
