The team are out of the Beechgrove Garden and are helping with the creation of a new community garden on the west shore of Loch Long just outside the Argyll village of Ardentinny.
This tiny community have come together for something big. They are renovating a unique two-acre curved walled garden for the community and visitors that will be a beautiful place to be as well as a place to grow produce. Despite its size, the garden has been out of sight, hidden in the undergrowth for so long that even the older residents didn't know of its existence.
Jim, Carole, George and Carolyn help to uncover the 'secret garden' while going out and about discovering some talented local gardeners, visiting unusual and inspirational gardens and helping to solve a gardening problem or two.
The Beechgrove Community Garden initiative enables communities to grow their own garden for themselves, by themselves, with a little help from Beechgrove. There are now well over 200 gardens that have been enabled in this way across Scotland.
