Electric Cars Recharged

Tom Heap asks if a new breed of electric car may finally bring them to the mainstream. He discovers that if these cars are to succeed, it is all about the looks and the drive.

And he discovers that experts believe that success will come this time thanks to a combination of improved technology, commercial imperatives and a hefty dose of EU legislation.
