Joining Jools and the band in the studio is new country sensation Kacey Musgraves, playing live and picking her favourite records.

Kacey, who sprang to prominence this year with her breakthrough hit 'Merry Go Round', has been compared to a young Dolly Parton and her exceptional songwriting looks set to bring her a long career in country music.

Tonight she sings a Ray Charles cover with Jools and the band, as well as talking about some of the artists who've been a big influence on her life and work.

Plus the usual melange of music old and new and odd, alongside a trip into the murky depths below the studio where Jools keeps his collection of rare cheeses and dinosaurs still roam the earth. Don't open that door...
