#Pixies6Music - The Ultimate Pixies Playlist

Tom Robinson invites listeners to collaborate on a Pixies-inspired playlist.

To mark the return of 6 Music favourites the Pixies, Tom Robinson invites listeners to create the ultimate Pixies-inspired playlist via social media.
In September, Black Francis and co. created an online buzz when they released their EP, simply called 'EP1' - their first collection of new material in more than a decade.
It was back in 1988 that the US alt rockers released their debut album, 'Surfa Roser', produced by studio legend Steve Albini and which Kurt Cobain openly credited as influencing Nivana's 'Nevermind'.
Three studio albums and a line-up change later (including the departure of long-term bassist and singer Kim Deal this summer) the Pixies are back and performed a special gig for 6 Music listeners at the 成人论坛's legendary Maida Vale studios, which premieres on Red Button on October 11.
To whet your appetite for this exciting Red Button event, we're handing two hours of the show over to the 6 Music audience to create its all-time Pixies-inspired playlist.
So what do we play? Pixies classics, music from their alt rock peers, collaborators or maybe tracks from side projects such as The Breeders or Grand Duchy? Over to you...
