After long ban, women in India could soon work as Bollywood make-up artists.Ìý Ever since the first union for film industry employees was created 55 years ago, the rule has effectively kept women out of the profession. This has been challenged in the Indian supreme court by Charu Khurana, a make up artist. A decision looks set to be reached on Tuesday, August 26th.Ìý Sheila McClennon speaks to Charu and also to Yogita Limaye, the ³ÉÈËÂÛ̳’s Mumbai correspondent.Ìý

A fifth of married people in the UK have a secret from their partner that could destroy their marriage, new research has revealed.ÌýAnd despite 42 per cent saying they don't think they will get caught out, many have suffered with sleepless nights, mood swings and constant guilt because of it.ÌýWhile the average secret has been kept for nearly ten years a quarter of respondents said they had been hiding the truth about something from their husband or wife for more than 25 years. The secrets kept by the 2,175 people involved in the study ranged from infidelity to money troubles to keeping pornography. It was commissioned by the law firm Slater & Gordon. Less than three years ago was a relatively unknown name in

the world of stand-up comedy. In 2012 she won ³ÉÈËÂÛ̳ Radio 2’s New Comedy

Award, and since then her career has gone from strength to strength. This

summer Lucy makes her debut at Edinburgh Festival with her new show We

Can Twerk It Out, and she is currently developing her sitcom To Hull and Back

in which she co-stars with Maureen Lipman – the pilot of which was broadcast

on ³ÉÈËÂÛ̳ Radio 2 earlier this year. She joins Sheila to discuss her career to

date.
