Johnnie Walker celebrates the 35th anniversary of Madness's debut album, One Step Beyond, and hears the 70s memories of Vince Clarke and Andy Bell, aka Erasure.

Johnnie Walker celebrates the decade of Meat Loaf, Marvin Gaye and Motorhead.

This week he's celebrating the 35th anniversary of Madness' debut album One Step Beyond, receiving a new release after being remastered from the original tapes. One of the forerunners of the 2 Tone ska revival alongside The Specials, the band blasted onto the music scene in 1979 with their appearance on Top Of The Pops and swiftly rose to stardom. Johnnie will play tracks from the original album, as well as hearing clips from the 成人论坛 archive of the band about the album.

Also on the programme, the band Erasure remember the decade in the My 70s feature. Formed of Vince Clarke and Andy Bell the band are known for their chart success in the eighties, but the seventies saw them take their first steps into music. Johnnie will also revisit a moment from the decade courtesy of the 成人论坛 archive and another classic seven-inch single will be added into Johnnie's Jukebox.
