Super Furry Animals - a St David's Day Surprise

Mary Anne has an exclusive chat with Super Furry Animals, who are to play their first shows in six years. Plus she celebrates St David's Day with Welsh music and Bethan Elfyn.

Celebrate St David's Day with a Welsh music feast ... Legendary band the Super Furry Animals will be giving their first interview since they announced their return on Friday morning. SFA will be rereleasing their classic album Mwng on May 1st, and playing their first live UK dates since 2009. How exciting! Prepare yourself to be charmed by indie heroes Gruff and Bunf from the band.

Also ... Broadcaster Bethan Elfyn joins Mary Anne to talk about the grassroots scene in Wales. Bethan Elfyn is 成人论坛 Wales' new music champion. She is involved in 'Horizons', a scheme that aims to grow fresh musical talent in Wales. She has loads of good tips for brand new bands who are trying to make their way in the world.
