Nicola Sturgeon became leader of the Scottish Nationalist Party just four months ago, but could become the power broker if this May鈥檚 General Election produces a hung parliament. So what are her priorities? And what did she mean when earlier this year she said 鈥淲estminster be warned. The age of female politics is here and it鈥檚 not going away鈥�? Jane talks to Nicola Sturgeon, Leader of the Scottish National Party.

At last year鈥檚 Scottish Referendum for Independence turn-out was 85%, and voters as young as 16 cast their ballots. So, just eight months later are young women in Scotland any more likely to turn out to vote than those in the rest of the UK? Jane talks to some of the young women of the Cohort about how they and their friends feel about the election 鈥� and about using their vote.

Last May the was devastated by a terrible fire. The structure of Charles Rennie Mackintosh building remained intact 鈥� but the library inside, recognised as the finest example of art nouveau in the world, was lost. Jane Garvey is joined by Muriel Gray, the Chair of Glasgow School of Art to hear about plans to rebuild the library.
