成人论坛 Music Day

Petroc Trelawny presents a special edition of the Breakfast programme from Birdoswald Roman Fort on Hadrian's Wall. He's joined live by the 成人论坛 Singers as Radio 3 joins "Hadrian's Wall of Sound" - a live musical event taking place along the Wall from Bowness-on-Solway to Wallsend.

成人论坛 Music Day will connect communities and generations with an inspirational celebration of music across the UK. Radio 3 Breakfast is the start of a day of live music-making on Radio 3 involving all of the 成人论坛's performing groups. The day ends with a live gala concert with the 成人论坛 Scottish Symphony Orchestra at City Halls in Glasgow in a simulcast on Radio 3, 2, Radio Scotland, Asian Network and on red button.

成人论坛 Music Day kicks off with 'Hadrian's Wall of Sound' - a unique, visually spectacular musical relay from Bowness on Solway to Wallsend. Hundreds of musicians from diverse communities along the wall will journey by bicycle, horse, open top vintage bus, motorbike and unicycle, passing a baton from performer to performer. The music will start at daybreak in West Cumbria and finish in North Tyneside - 73 miles and 14 hours later. This ambitious feat will be reflected live on 成人论坛 Radio 3 - led by the 成人论坛 Singers - and on 成人论坛 local radio, 成人论坛 Radio 6 Music and 成人论坛 Look North (North East and Cumbria).
