Claudette begs Donna to trust her and claims that nothing is going on between her and Les.

Claudette finds a broken Les outside crying hysterically. Les sobs that he loves Christine. Alone at home, Pam anxiously checks the time, before grabbing her coat and heading out. Pam bumps into Donna and admits that she’s concerned about Les not being home yet. Donna bursts into tears – Pam assumes it’s because she’s not on her date with Fatboy and gives her a sympathetic hug. As Pam tries to soothe Donna, Donna comes clean – she found Les at Claudette’s in only his underwear. Donna’s shocked when she clocks that Pam previously knew about Les and Claudette, it was the reason that she left him before. Pam arrives at Claudette’s and is devastated to see an array of women’s presents. A heartbroken Pam smashes a picture of herself, Les and Claudette, sobbing that Les had promised her no more secrecy. Claudette arrives home to find Pam in a rage, trashing the place. Claudette asks Pam to believe that the presents weren’t for her – she begs Pam to ask Les about Christine...

Unimpressed with Ronnie asking for a job at The Albert, Kim attempts to put her off by claiming she needs a CV with relevant experience. When Ronnie reels off an impressive list of past bar jobs, Kim’s thwarted. Sharon asks Ronnie when she can start, but Kim claims she’s going to have to put her to the test of an interview. Off the back of an impressive interview, Kim reluctantly offers Ronnie the job. Later, Kim explains to Patrick that she’s going to get Ronnie’ guard down, adamant that she’ll slip up. In hushed voices, Ronnie reminds Vincent that things between the two of them are over, but admits she applied for the job for excitement. As Vincent and Kim leave for their date afternoon, Vincent gets a text and makes that he’s forgotten his jacket and needs to head back to the bar. Kim hastily steps in and claims she’ll head back instead. Inside The Albert, assuming Ronnie was trying to lure Vincent back in, Kim makes a scathing comment. Ronnie brands Kim paranoid and shows Kim her phone to prove that she and Vincent haven’t exchanged any texts. Ronnie snaps that she’s not the one sleeping with Vincent... anymore. Kim’s fears are heightened when she heads outside to find Vincent gone. Vincent arrives at the tube station – it’s obvious he’s there to meet someone. A mystery man approaches Vincent – Vincent informs him that he’s now working with Ronnie. When the mystery man suggests that that wasn’t the plan, Vincent claims that he has something better in mind.

As Jade plays in the park, a confused Stacey questions Shabnam over why she isn’t at school. Shabnam confides in Stacey that Jade isn’t being looked after properly, but Stacey suggests that it’s a matter for social services. When Stacey states that Shabnam needs to take Jade home, Shabnam refuses. An upset Shabnam angrily shares how patronising those around her are being – implying that she’s trying to replace Zaair with Jade. Stacey gently reminds Shabnam that she’s not ready to take on another child; it’s too soon, and Jade would remember her leaving this time if anything went wrong. When Stacey and Shabnam drop Jade off back home, Shabnam promises that she’ll come back.
