Euan takes to the skies in a Glider above the Cairngorms
Duration: 00:53
North Ronaldsay Mutton
Dougie visits the most northerly of the Orkney Islands – North Ronaldsay – to find out about the unique sheep that live there and the meat and wool they produce.
Rewilding
Euan is near Loch Ness where an experiment is taking place which could lead to the eventual reintroduction of long-extinct species such as Lynx and Wolves.
East Coast Fish Conflict
Dougie spends the day with Stonehaven Creel Fisherman, Ian Mathieson, who has had fishing gear destroyed by trawlers and dredgers moving in to his coastal fishing grounds.
Gliding
It’s fifty years since the Cairngorm Gliding Club was founded and this year members set a new Scottish altitude record for a Glider – over 28,000 feet. Euan went along to find out how the pilots keep the Gliders in the air.
Landward Street Food Van
Nick Nairn and Dougie are in Stirling to cook some of the famous North Ronaldsay Mutton... but things get a little smoky in the van.
